Most of my paintings are done in front of the subject.( en plein air). On this day up at Kenilworth i was driving around looking for a subject to paint when i spotted some cows at the waterhole. I knew it would make a great subject to paint. After painting for a few hours i had a painting i was happy with. I spotted a pair of wedgetail eagles soaring up above me,so i added them in.When framed this would look great in any room to give it a lift. This was painted in oils on ply wood.
