This artwork comes with an external frame

This small oil painting was inspired by my love of the work of Renoir, and is an original study of his 1911 painting Gabrielle Avec La Rose. The subject, Gabrielle Renard, was originally a nanny for Renoir’s family and later became a frequent model for his work. It’s a beautiful classic work, and would enhance a living room or bedroom as a single artwork, or in a grouping of small works. It is simply framed in a modern, light timber frame with gold finish, however would look stunning in a heavy gold decorative frame from the turn-of-the-century period.
