A large abstract landscape painting of wild flowers in sandy coastal soil.
This is one of 3 paintings "rediscovered" in my store room. They were painted and exhibited in 2013 and have not previously been for sale. This painting was a finalist in the prestigious Paddington Art Prize.
Impasto paint lines are used on this contemporary painting so that the painting appears dynamic as light reflects off a multitude of different surfaces.
The Painting is on plywood which is backed with a timber support frame made with professional quality joinery.
Only professional artist quality paints are used. The board is first sealed front and back and the sides are painted a dark tone. The painting is finished with layers of protective varnish. Heavy duty "D" rings and cord are attached so that the painting is ready to hang.
