Summer Garden

A large abstract expressionist painting with textured, multiple layers of paint; typically between 12 and 15 layers to get the vibrant effect that I want. This is a painting where you can get lost in the the wilderness of colour, which includes vivid colours of blue, red, yellow and green.
Inspiration is drawn from favorite expressionist artists such as Jackson Pollock and Milton Resnick.
The Painting is on canvas on a quality stretcher frame and only artist acrylic paints are used. The painting is finished with layers of protective polymer gloss varnish and the sides are painted to tone with the painting. Heavy duty "D" rings and cord are attached so that the painting is ready to hang. A signed certificate of authenticity is included.
