Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile. I am self taught, born with creativity surging through my veins and gifted with the audacity to put it on show with no formal qualifications. Outrageous I know! I am based on the beautiful Hay Plains in the Riverina area, where big skies kiss the flattest earth you ever will see!
Since as long as I can remember, I have painted. When I grow up I want to be an artist; that little ditty has never changed. The tune may have evolved over time, but it remains the soundtrack of my psyche. Being a spare-time artist, my ability to create has ebbed and flowed over the years, however I always find myself navigating back to the brushes. For me, the process is intuitive, from seeing something in my minds eye, taking influence from a colour, song, all things in nature, or just simply based on that unexplainable ’where the wind blows me’ type of vibe I’m riding for the day! My art is often described as bold and vibrant with a happy, positive feel to it, which is what I aim to put out into the world.
