This piece began with a photograph taken in Bali while travelling with my daughter a decade ago. A place layered with personal memories from those travels, evoking a strong sense of time and place.

The foundations of my artistic practice began with screen printing and relief techniques, which influenced my approach to painting. I incorporate bold shapes, layered textures, and graphic elements into my work, drawing inspiration from flora and fauna. I enjoy pushing the boundaries of watercolour and acrylics to introduce a touch of magic to my pieces, whether through unconventional colour combinations or altered perspectives. My goal is to create artworks that feel both grounded and subtly transformative.
