Cut 2 Ed. 1 of 50

My work is created as series that creatively interpret moments in my life.
Sometimes during the creation process of these body’s of work I make work that ends up not working to the series or leads away from the story I am trying to interpret.

‘Cut 2’ is an example of this, originally created to be part of my series ‘The Journey’ that didn’t quite fit to the final showcase. Too beautiful to not show I am offering 3 of these works exclusively on Bluethumb with a higher edition total to my normal works to allow for a cheaper price point.

The works were created to visually represent beauty in busy chaos, a moment of still and reflection when everything seems overwhelming.

I am an Australian contemporary art photographer with South Korean Heritage. I use my art to interpret emotions, ideas and events exposed in my life. Botanicals displayed in an activated sculptural way are regular featured within my work to conceptually represent these ideas. Layering of paint, smoke and fire are also regularly showcased.
Formally trained as a commercial photographer with strong knowledge in film and darkroom artistry I approach my work with the technique of modern commercial media.
