Since I was young, I have always had a passion for drawing, sketching and painting, but never had the time to pursue my hobby due to work commitments and other demands on my time.
Over the past year or so, I have endeavoured to focus more time on rediscovering my love of art and painting, experimenting with various paint media and techniques. I am a self-taught artist and really enjoy the mental stimulation and satisfaction in envisaging a painting and bringing my ideas to fruition.
My preferred painting medium is oil on canvas, but I also work with acrylic paint, depending on the subject matter. I enjoy painting seascapes and landscapes, particularly from the South-west of Western Australia but I paint many different subjects including pet portraits.
