Artwork Description

In this painting, I explore the captivating moment when the tiger steps forward—breaking the boundary between its world and ours. The tiger’s stride, deliberate and commanding, symbolizes strength and determination, inviting viewers to confront the raw power and beauty of nature.

This painting is about more than capturing an animal in motion; it’s about bridging the gap between observer and subject, reminding us of our shared connection to the wild. It serves as a visual metaphor for resilience and courage, urging us to step forward, just as the tiger does, with purpose and confidence.

This painting is designed to transform any room into a bold, dynamic space. The tiger’s forward motion and striking presence create the illusion that it’s stepping out into your environment, drawing you into its world. Whether displayed in a living room, office, or entryway, this piece acts as a conversation starter and a focal point, commanding attention and admiration.

This painting comes in a handmade floating box frame made from Tasmanian Oak.

Artist Bio

I started out with a pencil in hand, drawing portraits and learning to capture emotion through subtle lines and shadows. Over time, I found myself wanting more depth, colour, and freedom and that led me to oil painting.

These days, I love working with oil because of how it lets me explore contrast, light, and mood in a way pencil never could. My subjects are always changing. I’m drawn to anything with character, whether it’s a person, an old car, an animal, or even a building.

For me, painting is about looking more closely and finding something interesting in the everyday and bringing it to life with colour and light.
