Artwork Description

My grandmother told me the story of Minyma Kutjara (two sisters) when I was growing up. She was from here, from Kaltukatjara. She took me there when I was a teenage girl and told me the story of that place. Those two sisters were travelling a long way from Irruntju in WA to Kintore in the NT.
When I am pain􀆟ng, I think about those stories and the places, and paint the tali (sandunes), kapi (waterholes) and puli (rocks
and hills).
