I often see one of these noisy but cute fluff balls sleeping in a gum tree where I live!
This koala is painted with deliberate and spontaneous layers of acrylic paint in a loose impressionistic style.

Varnished with a satin finish, sides painted and ready to hang.

Rebecca is an acclaimed artist that likes to keep things free and wild allowing the animal to form with progressing layers. She is located in the foothills of the Grampians, South West Victoria where she enjoys being outdoors, preferable in the warmer months, spending a great deal of time immersed in nature and taking in the natural wonders that the local wildlife presents. Her inspiration is drawn from her love of nature and animal and is reflected in her work. She is inspired by the peculiar, inquisitive and sometimes mischievous nature of the animals and enjoy capturing their individual uniqueness that they display.Rebecca is an award winning artist receiving several first places, awards and commendations for her work. She is an active member at the MUD Gallery of Hamilton where she displays selected works for sale; she also has art displayed in private collections throughout Australia.
