This series of ‘Oyster Cove’ paintings are inspired by oyster farming and their environment. Shells and rocks have been collected from farms and beaches and processed to create natural pigments which is mixed with an acrylic medium to make paint. This piece uses oyster shells and pink beach rocks from the Karuah River in NSW.
