In Full bloom

In all honesty, I don’t always know why I paint what I do or what draws me to a particular subject. The inspiration for this piece came from a drawing I created several months ago. I didn’t have a set plan, I simply let the ideas unfold as I drew. I’ve found that I’m most creative when I feel emotionally balanced, and I think that sense of calm is reflected in this painting.

As I painted this piece, there was a different kind of energy behind it. I’m a self-taught artist, and there are moments when I’m unsure of what I am doing, ill second guess myself and revisit the same section for hours until I find what feels right. But this painting felt effortless. The process flowed naturally, and I enjoyed every stage of it. In Full Bloom is a reflection of how far I’ve come since I first started painting, a marker of growth and what I feel is the beginning of my evolution as an artist.

I am an emerging Australian artist whose work explores the relationship between nature, spirit, and the feminine. I am self-taught, and a lot of my paintings are inspired by my time living in Peru.

Working primarily in oil on canvas, I create symbolic, nature-infused portraits that merge realism with a soft, ethereal quality. My process is intuitive and meditative, guided by emotion, energy, and vision rather than structure.

Each piece explores themes of healing, rebirth, and the quiet strength of the feminine. I’m inspired by the harmony between humanity and the natural world , by the way light and form can remind us of the deeper unity that exists beneath all things.
