This piece is a celebration of everyday beauty—sunflowers from the garden, apples on the table, and the quiet joy found in simple arrangements. I wanted the colours to feel bold and uplifting, so I leaned into contrasts: the warmth of the yellow petals and red apples against the cool turquoise vase and rich magenta background.

There’s something timeless about painting still life, but I love bringing a more playful, modern energy to it through colour and strong outlines. Sunflowers and Apples feels like a moment of sunshine—something familiar, comforting, and full of life.
