Live car art at the Adelaide Fringe Waymouth Street Party

Contemporary urban Indigenous artist Coby Edgar will paint the Bluethumb car live in the street at the Adelaide Fringe Waymouth Street Party this Friday 21st February. Coby has free reign to paint anything she likes on the 30-year-old Landcruiser ute, which is crying out to be splashed in wild colours after a hard life of roaring up and down the Birdsville track. There might even be some audience participation.

We’ll be showcasing some of our top South Australian artists, using vintage Hills Hoist clotheslines to hang their artwork. We’re kicking off at 4pm, so come and watch Coby work her magic on the Bluethumb ute, eat some delicious food from Press food and wine, listen to some great music in the street and soak up the pretty.
