My work aims to capture the essence of Australian beach life. I focus firstly on colour, and then on the dynamic compositional play between human figures, the ocean’s expanse, and abstracted colour fields.
Visual dialogue is created between geometric forms and palette knife texture. I’m inspired by the joy I feel when I am connected to the ocean's energy and translate energy into colour. Each painting is an attempt to create a vibrating harmony between colour, geometry and the natural world. I invite the viewer to enjoy coastal life from a new perspective.

When not at one of Sydney’s beautiful beaches, Bo is in the studio ​happily capturing the essence of her seaside environment.
A passionate ocean swimmer, she loves watching the sunrise while ​doing the Bold and Beautiful morning swim with her besties.
Captivated by colour, Bo has done numerous courses with ​renowned colourists such as Cathrine Kehoe and Susan Lichtman.
