Yellow Roses

Painted from still life, and the yellow roses pop out against the complementary purple. Thick artist quality oil paint is used to create this painting. I have used palette knife to give the bold texture.

My aim is to connect to nature and achieve a state of meditative bliss. I love to pick colours and harmony form nature and add a touch of abstraction. If my painting is not generating a sense of joy, happiness and positivity then its not worth displaying.
