Artwork Description

My father was a truck driver. I grew up around semi-trailers, truck depots, truck stops, and travelled the US in big rigs all my life. We see trucks and trailers every day - my challenge was to present them as alien monoliths from the movie "2010: A Space Odyssey". I wanted to fictionalise them, take the everyday and give it a twist toward the unknowable and the strange.
