Artwork Description

Portrait of the artist's son at age eleven. I was influenced by Anders Zorn, using his famous palette of only 4 colours: ivory black, yellow ochre, vermillion, and titanium white. I also heavily used the blending technique called sfumato to capture Xavier's gentle character and age.
