Hard edge abstract. Mid cadmium yellow slowly blends into pale violet through to turquoise in the middle against a band of pale orange. This painting captures the brightness and warmth of the sun, carefully balanced by cooler complimentary high key notes, creating an intense and calming sensation. The onset of spring and flowers were also an inspiration.
