Inspired by the French artist Jean-François Millet’s 19th century painting- Angelus.

Composed of multiple objects photographed separately, combined digitally and colour corrected to form a cohesive landscape.

The main backdrop is a closeup of sand at Semaphore Beach. Rain had just fallen and left indentations similar to craters.

There is a sense of melancholy formed by the downcast heads against the absurdity of combined found objects representing the human ambiguity of uncertainty and anxiety.
