Nyoongar Boodjah is a abstract artwork repressing the Nyoongar area in the south west of Australia, this area is made up from 14 different language groups and start from Dongra in the north down to Esperance in the south.
the painting shows the colour, textures and richness of the land, but also the problems of the salt affected farmland and lakes. the circles show the diversity of cultures that now reside in Nyoongar country as it is the most populated land in Western Australia.
This is a collaboration artwork with my brother and fellow established artist Robin Kickett
