Hard surfaces, public space, repetition, and the body in concert with the urban environment. Professional men projecting their perceived status of control, power and wealth - playing the game - and therefore reminding me of NPCs in a video game, but it’s real life. The threshold of the gutter, combined with the three directional movement brought me to click the shutter. I like it when people ‘cross over’ something, and in this case the break in stride gives the suit a peplum – a feminine touch, a glitch.
