Artwork Description

Photograph on paper

Signed on the front.

This image is part of a commissioned series I photographed in the Toolangi Forest (near Melbourne) called 'The people who speak for the trees'. A 2011 photo essay consisting of mostly black and white portraits documenting environmentalists who bravely stand before bulldozers. This image in particular reminds me that the forest is full of life and mystery.
