Vincent's Drumkit.

The idea for this one came from a conversation with a friend who posited that Monsieur van Gogh took up playing the newly invented drumkit, resulting in an ugly fight with Monsieur Gauguin and the unfortunate ear incident. Hard to believe I know. Red wine was involved in the discussion, it must be said.

Based in Sydney, Australia, I work with artist quality acrylic paint and mixed media on gallery wrapped stretched canvas frames. I am an artist and musician, who trained in graphic art and design. Besides being a rock & roll and jazz drummer, I have worked in graphic arts all my life. I sold my work through Sydney’s Paddington Markets for some time and now I sell exclusively online. On offer are original paintings. My works are sort of Pop-arty – often with a retro twist - (sub genre: Whimsyism...), light hearted, fun and colourful. Enjoy!
