Brianna Gittos is a Brisbane-based artist originally from Townsville. Inspired by works she encountered in her local regional gallery growing up, her practice began with still life and portraiture, using bold, expressive colour to spark joy and emotional resonance. Now moving away from traditional still life, Brianna explores more personal, introspective themes—using portraiture to delve into identity, memory, and the quiet moments that shape us. Her work balances vibrant colour with a dynamic sense of movement, aiming to capture the energy of inner thought. She works across both traditional and digital media, with a particular love for oil painting and its soft, layered depth. Brianna also produces original works, prints, and stickers.
