Summer Gelato

I painted this painting with a memory in mind, of the summer that just passed. Our family spends a lot of time on the Great Ocean Road and it reminded me of the hot summer nights eating gelato at the beach. The pink gelato, the pink sunset, the drips of ice cream, a beach umbrella. It is summer in a painting.
