Landscape Artist, Bridget Seaton was born in the UK and became fascinated by Australiaโs landscape in 1998 when she first visited as a backpacker. She migrated in 2010 to pursue her love of the Australian bush which is the subject matter for all her work. She works mainly in acrylics and the printmaking methods of monotype and collagraphy. Although based in Fremantle she frequently spends time in the bush, walking and painting on location, an essential part of her process. She holds a fine art degree from Cardiff University (UK) and is a qualified arts educator, teaching both adults and children in the community. Bridget has been selected for various printmaking shows and won first prize in the printmaking category of the Beverley Art Prize 2022. She frequently exhibits in WA in both regional and metro areas. Her paintings are in private collections in Australia and overseas.
