"The First Butterfly" combines both my abstract and still lift painting styles. With each one complimenting the other.
The still life includes a little butterfly which is representing my puppies first experience with a butterfly. We were on a walk and it flew right in front of her face and I couldn't get the wholesome image of her watching it fly by out of my head. So I decided I needed to include the butterfly in this piece.
