Artwork Description

‘The Milk of Memories’ is an exploration in how objects can hold moments in time through the triggering of memories. The three objects within the still life portion are, in different ways, vessels: a vessel for something physical but also of memories. The abstract portion embodies the escapist qualities of memories through an ethereal field of colours and texture.

Overall my painting practice gives my life a sense of happiness and connection.
I mostly create pieces that explore my emotions and reflect internal contemplations that grow through my lived experiences.
I also aim to mindfully connect my mark making on the canvas with my bodies movements while in the process of painting.
Sometimes the experience of creating itself inspires my practice.
