I am a young artist whose work explores abstract interpretations of the environment that has shaped me. Growing up surrounded by natural landscapes has had a lasting influence on my creative practice, inspiring the organic shapes, layered textures, and harmonious colour palettes that appear throughout my work. Rather than representing these environments directly, I translate them into abstract forms that reflect both the physical landscape and my personal experience of it.
Topographical and aerial perspectives often inform my compositions, allowing me to reimagine familiar spaces in new and expressive ways. Through intuitive mark-making and flowing brushstrokes, my paintings aim to capture a sense of movement, rhythm, and balance that echoes the natural world. Texture and colour are central elements in my process, building layered surfaces that invite viewers to pause and explore the work more closely.
My practice is driven by a desire to convey a sense of calm and quiet reflection. Each piece becomes a space where landscape, memory, and emotion intersect, creating an atmosphere of stillness and connection. By abstracting the environments that continue to inspire me, I seek to share the peaceful and grounding qualities I experience within them, inviting viewers to interpret the works through their own perspective and emotional response.
