As I poured these soft, beautiful beachy colours of liquid acrylic onto the canvas, I saw reefs and atolls developing, reminding me so much of Shark Bay along the Coral Coast of Western Australia. I developed this idea, by the way I tilted and swirled the colours on the canvas. There is beautiful patterning throughout the painting, which would look great in a holiday or coastal home or anyone wanting to dream of the ocean. The paint was allowed to flow down the sides of the canvas, to cover and create further decorative effect.
