Reef fish

I had fun with my Gelli plate to print on papers and ended up with a huge batch. Each print is different, which in turn makes my art unique. I added with a black pen some pattern and outlined all. For the white part I used White Out. Everything is glued on a small black gesso canvas. The edge of the background was cutting out with pattern scissors.

Brigitte is born in Switzerland and lives in Grasstree Beach QLD since 1993. For Printmaking 1999 she had the honour of Glen Skien as her teacher. She enjoys experimenting with mixed media and founded Objects, and her favourite media is Collography, Woodcut and Lithography. Sometimes she likes to paint with watercolour and Brigitte thinks it is the hardest media to master. Art is her breath and is a huge part who she is and how she sees the world. Brigitte has strong accent, but her language are colour, textures, and patterns. Her artworks are often inspired by adventures, memories, and feelings She loves to tutor workshops and she is generous with sharing her knowledge in printmaking. She has a passion to work with different abilities people and she does art and craft with them. Brigitte has received many awards for her prints. Her artworks are sold national and overseas.
