Artwork Description

Being an ocean lover I am drawn to the blue water and big waves. They make wonderful art and create a statement on a wall. A lot of my influence has come from my surfer son and looking through his vast surf photos.
There is plenty of vivid blue hues and frothy white foam to view, created from various pigment powders and pastes that are swirled into the epoxy resin. This gives a lasting high glossy sheen.

Artist Bio

Landscape artist, Britt March’s paintings capture and convey the pure beauty of Australia’s landscapes and coastlines. Britt, who was born in Sweden, is an award winning, Fremantle based artist who began her painting career stimulated by the beauty of the Esperance coastline and the red outback of the Goldfields. It was there that she founded her own gallery and was acknowledged for her talent by winning the Esperance Biennial Art Prize. Her artworks are currently stocked at geordies Cafe and Art Gallery, Rottnest Island. Her most recent achievements include setting up her Home Studio Gallery space. Britt’s paintings are inspired by the places she lives in and has travelled to. She uses a bird’s eye perspective of the coastline and realistic colour palette, plus found objects she collects, to represent the natural beauty of our beautiful beaches. “My paintings represent a place and time travelled and through memories, I express my feelings to that place. I love the creativity and abstraction that poured acrylics and resins offer and I intuitively, let the paint guide the process”. Commissions to suit your needs are welcome.
