Artwork Description

Oil on wood

Signed on the front.

I walked past this common moth vine for close to a year during Melbourne's lockdowns, wondering what sort of fruit or veggie it was. Finally one day, a few of the pods had burst open and I was shocked to see thin, white hairs attached to dark brown seeds all packed in neatly like sardines. I knew I had to paint whatever this was.
