Britty Em is an internationally recognised artist with works all over the world including London, Paris, Tokyo, Beirut and New York. She is currently based on the Gold Coast and mainly works in large scale acrylic paintings.
A common theme in Britty’s new work is portraits of animals and humans, juxtaposed with bright colourful palettes and fun everyday objects such as flowers. Her work is an example of blending rational ideas together to create something new and playful. Graphic design and fashion has a strong influence in her work and has been instrumental in producing illustrative 2D flat designs in the form of quirky paintings.
