The studio is quiet today. Just me, the canvas, and whatever’s trying to come through. The canvas stretching bigger than usual lately. I've been pulled toward something ancient - something bone-deep. One of the pieces I'm working on feels like it’s channeling early human mark-making… the kind of instinctual gestures our ancestors etched into cave walls, not knowing why, just knowing they had to.
There’s a strange joy in that. A freedom. It’s fun, but focused. These larger works are asking for more - more movement, more meaning, more space.
Can’t wait to share where this is all heading. For now, I’m just letting it flow.
