Artwork Description

This painting is white on white. Deliberately kept minimalistic and unfinished-looking, the neutral white will allow it to fit perfectly with many types of decor. Chunkiness is created from a texture medium with sand added.

As a child I loved (and indulged in) all sorts of arts and crafts, but I never had any idea about painting.

I first picked up a paintbrush in January 2014, with no clue what to do with it. Since then, I've experimented with many different paint types and brands; ways of applying paint; resin; and different types of supports (painting surfaces).

Because I like variety and I like to keep things fresh, I don't have a particular style or favourite way of producing a painting. I work with how my mood takes me on the day and I'm often surprised at the result.
