Artwork Description

The reason behind the choice of name? A couple of the definitions I found for symphony are: a balanced, pleasing or suitable arrangement of parts; and harmonious arrangement (as of sound or colour). I thought the definition suited. And the green and gold part should be obvious. This piece would likely be at home in a more formal, luxe setting. It would also team really well, hung side-by-side, with Nocturnal Verdure; also listed on Bluethumb. To keep the look clean and crisp, the artwork has been signed on the side, rather than the front. As with all of my artworks, it comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

As a child I loved (and indulged in) all sorts of arts and crafts, but I never had any idea about painting.

I first picked up a paintbrush in January 2014, with no clue what to do with it. Since then, I've experimented with many different paint types and brands; ways of applying paint; resin; and different types of supports (painting surfaces).

Because I like variety and I like to keep things fresh, I don't have a particular style or favourite way of producing a painting. I work with how my mood takes me on the day and I'm often surprised at the result.
