Artwork Description

The infinity symbol, a figure eight on its side, signifies limitlessness or eternity. A mathematical symbol, it is often used to signify never-ending love or personal empowerment (as in, we can be limitless in our abilities).

The number 8 is an angel number, and it means balance, peace and harmony. It helps you to make decisions in your life, and it is said that if you see the number 8 all over the place it's the angels trying to communicate with you.

The surface of this painting is highly-textured to give added interest to an otherwise very minimalist artwork.

This painting can be hung as a figure 8 or as an infinity symbol. As the buyer, you can choose which way has more meaning for you and request the wire to be attached in the orientation you'd prefer.

Artist Bio

As a child I loved (and indulged in) all sorts of arts and crafts, but I never had any idea about painting.

I first picked up a paintbrush in January 2014, with no clue what to do with it. Since then, I've experimented with many different paint types and brands; ways of applying paint; resin; and different types of supports (painting surfaces).

Because I like variety and I like to keep things fresh, I don't have a particular style or favourite way of producing a painting. I work with how my mood takes me on the day and I'm often surprised at the result.

If you don't currently see anything in my portfolio that interests you, perhaps you might like to follow me. You never know when I might produce a piece that perfectly matches your taste or requirements.
