Movement Part 2

With this piece I wanted to create something dramatic, but not SO dramatic that it takes over the room in which it is hung.

Another painting was created in tandem with this one and is also available for sale. It is my hope that both pieces will go to the same collector, although I am prepared to separate them. They are Movement Part 1 and Movement Part 2. Both pieces are shown together in one of the photos here, but are available for sale separately.

As a child I loved (and indulged in) all sorts of arts and crafts, but I never had any idea about painting.

I first picked up a paintbrush in January 2014, with no clue what to do with it. Since then, I've experimented with many different paint types and brands; ways of applying paint; resin; and different types of supports (painting surfaces).

Because I like variety and I like to keep things fresh, I don't have a particular style or favourite way of producing a painting. I work with how my mood takes me on the day and I'm often surprised at the result.
