I am an Australian artist from the NSW Central Coast. I specialise in realistic drawings using pastel pencils, a medium I love.
I have been privileged to learn how to draw with amazing UK artists Danielle Fisher and Dave Porter.
When I became unwell and had to give up a full time job that I loved so much, I turned to my art. My art and my beloved animals became my therapy and helped me heal.
So a lot of my work is inspired by a lifelong love of animals and nature. I strive to bring each piece of art to life, capturing character and spirit, and celebrating the incredible diversity and beauty of our wildlife. Every drawing is created with patience, care and a deep respect for our beautiful wildlife that continues to inspire me.
Recently I have started doing some disability support work. As I continued to get better and could start working again I wanted to do something that helped others. I am currently studying art therapy online, so I can learn how to use art within my support work, in hope that it will help others as it did for me.
Art and animals continue to inspire me and help me heal every day.
