Artwork Description

My painting represents two spirits coming together. Two 'Clever Men' from different parts of the country painted their boomerangs with red ochre and threw them into the wind. The two boomerangs spun around each other, each filled with their own dreaming and bringing their dreams and feelings into a relationship - then they hit a tree and fell down . The ochre became many different people from many different clans. Together, but not the same, walking, honouring and respecting each other and their differences. We are all Aboriginal people but not all the same- with a connection to country through the ochre.
