'Congratulations Team New Zealand' for their 7th win to defend the America's Cup and hold onto the trophy.

This image reminds me to Aim High by increasing the 'Intensity' as Team New Zealand did to clinch their remarkable win.

Watching these magnificent yachts fly on their foils in the America’s Cup final races on Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour is an amazing experience. I'm not sure which is more exhilarating, the high end technology or the incredible skill of the team taming this technology.

It’s a while since I’ve sailed and certainly never in something like these magnificent machines, but I love painting the action as I see it in an expressionist style.

This original expressionist painting, 'Intensity', has rather intriguing mark making with a vibrant palette making it a perfect nautical statement piece even for the non yachty. As usual, I love capturing the essence of movement as she flies at full speed barely touching the water.

People often say that they love my paintings because of the richness of the colors, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use.
