Hoopla is a fun piece that embraces texture and bold colour. Full of sea-tones of blue and vibrant orange, contrast is the name of the game! Compositionally it is restrained, following a diagonal line which lets the colours do the talking.

Finished with satin varnish.

Ready to hang: This painting is stretched and ready to hang with hooks and wire already attached, and canvas edges painted and varnished so that framing isn’t necessary.

Hi, I’m Bryn – a Melbourne-based artist creating bold, vibrant paintings that celebrate colour and joy. 🎨

I’ve loved all things artistic for as long as I can remember, and while I’ve explored other areas, art is something I’ve always come back to. While at uni I was able to study painting at the VCA as part of my broader degree, which completely reignited my love of the medium. I’ve been doing it ever since, but it’s been something I’ve done for myself until recently.

In 2023, I started Studio Circo, a creative studio focused on creating bold compositions with strong shapes and lots of energy, often with a twist of mid-century modernism. I began with linocuts and have since added painting back into my regular practice.
