An Evening Stroll Through Manly

I have lived on the Northern Beaches all my life, and have always admired the many beautiful sights they offer. They provide great inspiration for my works. Manly is picturesque at dusk, especially the wharf and East Esplanade. I wanted to capture it just before the sun disappears, so you can still see some blue in the sky. The lights also add to the scene as they contrast with the darkness of the water and the trees in the background. The trees, water, walking path and lights come together in a picturesque image.

I grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, so the beautiful beaches and scenery gave me inspiration for my artworks. I have loved drawing from an early age, and after I left school I expanded my art practice to include painting.

I have painted some of the well-known beaches of Sydney in a way that captures their iconic beauty.
