Reflections

In this abstract artwork I wanted to experiment with the colours blue, yellow, white and grey. Each quadrant is dominated by one of these colours, but I have created shapes that look like they are reflected in other quadrants. The bright, vivid yellow and white contrasts with the darker blue and grey.
The sides are painted so that the image depicted on the front continues on the sides.

I grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, so the beautiful beaches and scenery gave me inspiration for my artworks. I have loved drawing from an early age, and after I left school I expanded my art practice to include painting.

I have painted some of the well-known beaches of Sydney in a way that captures their iconic beauty.
