When Day Becomes Dusk

I am intrigued by the beauty of twilight at Manly. The walking path along East Esplanade is a lovely and serene sight at night. The trees cast thick shadows over the area. The lamps are like beacons and light the way along the path, guiding you. The boats stand still on the water, as if sleeping. It is eerily quiet except for the distant sound of music and chatter.

I grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, so the beautiful beaches and scenery gave me inspiration for my artworks. I have loved drawing from an early age, and after I left school I expanded my art practice to include painting.

I have painted some of the well-known beaches of Sydney in a way that captures their iconic beauty.
