"Before the Break," is an original painting, As a young man, I spent countless hours surfing and swimming in the deep ocean. Over the years, I developed a deep connection with the movement of the water, its rhythm , power and ever changing energy. This painting grew from those memories, it isn't a literal wave, but an expression of what it felt like to be in the ocean , the freedom and calm it gave me.
