This artwork is inspired in the mayan culture and the cacao ceremony. This artwork draws inspiration from a mother and her two children. Through this piece, my intention is to highlight the significance of women in our society and the inherent strength we possess. The mother is depicted carrying one of her children in her arms. Two years ago, I started collecting bread tags, coffee lids, and later, plastic sushi containers. My friends also helped me with this.

I remember one morning when I bought a coffee (one of the things I love about Melbourne) and thought, how many coffees do I have in a week? And in a month? So, I began this collection. Each lid is from a different place, sometimes from the same place.

I also noticed that some of them were biodegradable, meaning they "melted" a bit when I applied paint – a plus for those cafes using this material!

Now, the artwork has won the first place in a contest organized by mava_collective with a sustainability theme. My question is: how can we live more sustainably in our daily lives? This award is dedicated to our planet, and I hope it can raise more awareness because it depends on us La
